Welcome to Affordable Parties by Shayla Merritt, where my job is to provide an affordable party for everyone. I provide various party services with packages for everyone’s budget. I am happy to create a a party from state to finish for my client's if that is what they nee. I can also help my clients to ensure the details they have already selected are carried in careful detail and their party is successful from the beginning to end and in between. I also do Weddings and Business or Charity Parties.
Specialty Services-My job is to provide online consultations, plan your entire party or wedding remotely, ensuring that when you show up to your event everything you wanted your party or wedding to be has come to light.
Service Area-I serve clients in person and online between Harrisburg. Pa, and Philadelphia, Pa,in Pennsylvania and cities in Southern New Jersey.
Specialty Parties-Theme Parties, Celebrating Overcoming an Illness, Sobriety, Retirement, and even a cocktail party.

Pricing Flat Fee:
Full service or Large Parties 25% Cost of an additional budget.
Partial Service 15-20%- Depending on guest size, time needed and party size.
Complete Design-My job is to come up a party idea and design your party around it ensuring every detail is thoroughly executed on the day of the party. Handlining every detail from hiring vendors and finding the location to the set up and take down of the event space.
Partial Design-My job is to assist clients who have an idea(s) for their party but not sure how to bring their vision(s) to reality. If clients have specific vendors or a location already hired, I am her to firm up those details and ensure any other details flawlessly executed before, during, and after the party for my clients. If they have not chosen vendors or a location , I will take that worry off their hands.
Pricing:
Day of or Small parties 60.00/ hour
My clients are looking for me to make sure all details they have already decided on are put into motion such as the hiring the vendors, securing the location. On top of those details, I am here to ensuring your party is set up and taken down. Most importantly, my clients have an affordable party, without any worries, and everyone has great fun with lasting memories!
Pricing:
$80.00 per Hour
For my clients who are having a larger business event , charity event or a large scale gala. I am here to show up 4-5 hours prior to the event, earlier if needed to ensure that the set up details of the event is properly executed with every detail in place prior to the event, During the event I ensure it is running seamlessly attending to any problems that may arise and solve them. After the event has finished my job is to make sur that vendors are doing their jobs cleaning up and the event is being properly taken down before I leave.
Pricing:
Dependent on size of the Wedding, hours of planning time needed, and the type of Wedding desired. Price will be either be calculated by the hour, At an hourly rate of $40.00/ hour or 20-25% of the budget dependent on the above factors and which is more affordable for your wedding.
